We maintain a written information security plan, as the IRS requires of every credentialed preparer. Documents move through an encrypted client portal, never plain email. We use multi-factor authentication on every system that touches your data, and we work through accountant-level invitations rather than your login credentials.
If anyone claiming to be from our firm ever asks for your banking password, it isn't us. Please call.
Your books are maintained on cloud systems with documented procedures, so nothing depends on any one person being available.
